Waldorf-Astoria Residences, Miami

Towering 1,049 feet above Biscayne Bay, Waldorf Astoria Residences, Miami redefines the city’s skyline with sculptural architecture and visionary interiors. As the tallest residential building south of Manhattan, this landmark is more than an architectural feat it’s a living experience elevated into the clouds. Nine spiraling cubes appear to levitate, wrapped in a glass skin that reflects the sea, sky, and city below, forming a vertical sculpture of light. Inside, the model room’s interiors echo the tower’s ambition, creating a sanctuary above it all.

“The groundbreaking of Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami signifies much more than the property’s vertical construction… As Miami’s first supertall tower and Waldorf Astoria’s first entry into the city, this achievement further designates Miami as a global destination and sets a new benchmark for luxury real estate paired with superior hospitality.” Kevin Maloney PMG, President & CEO

Furniture as Art

Furniture is more than functional, it’s a form of sculpture. BAMO’s curated and custom-designed pieces hold their own against the tower’s dramatic skyline views, serving as both functional elements and visual anchors.

Upon arrival, Bec Brittain’s Hanging Flags greets residents with a luminous installation that blurs the line between light and art, its interplay of mirrors, metals, and glass shifting with every perspective. In the powder room, a custom marble sink and integrated mirror create layered reflections. In the primary suite, a sculptural vanity stool with a curved lollipop back pairs craftsmanship with comfort, while in the guest room, wood-slat paneling backed with subtly textured wallpaper adds depth and warmth.

Together, these pieces create a narrative of artistry, innovation, and sensory engagement—echoing Miami’s own design culture.

“Our design work is guided by an awareness that the human experience and one’s frame of mind can be influenced by their surroundings. In designing for the Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, our goal was to create an experience that felt transcendent, inspiring a sense of awe as you arrive, and in exploring further, a sense of discovery and reflection.” Anne Wilkinson BAMO, Principal

Modernity meets classical restraint in smoky oak millwork, honed marbles in light and dark tones, and open layouts designed for both spectacle and stillness. Each home is shaped by light, view, and the city’s creative pulse.

Every material–marble, wood, leather–was selected as much for its tactile richness as for its visual beauty.
