From the gold rush of the 1850s to today’s vibrant arts scene, Cherry Creek has long drawn seekers and creators. Waldorf Astoria Residences, Cherry Creek continues that legacy with interiors that honor the region’s spirit of exploration. Drawing on Colorado’s material and artistic heritage, from Yule marble to blackened wood, bronze, and nearby works by Gio Ponti and Artus Van Briggle, BAMO crafted a narrative of discovery through contrast: light and dark, rough and refined, historic and modern.

“Our inspiration came from the theme of discovery guided by the ‘Mountain Moderne’ aesthetic — whether it’s the gold nuggets once found in Cherry Creek or the prized local marble that shaped some of America’s most iconic monuments. This narrative comes to life through thoughtful design details, like aggregate stone floors evoking the creek bed, refined wood paneling, and metallic accents that catch the light like minerals in the earth.
